UNI Success Courses

Get started on your path to success and earn credits along the way! UNI success courses can help you experience a great start at ASU and give you the knowledge, skills, and motivation to achieve your academic goals. UNI Success Courses are open to students in all majors and programs.

Course offerings:

• UNI 120: Academic Success Seminar (1 credit). Explore strategies for creating success at ASU and in life. Topics include motivation, empowerment, procrastination, interdependence, and overcoming barriers.
• UNI 110: Critical Reading and Thinking (3 credits). Improve critical reading and thinking skills through active discussions, debates, and writing. Learn how to apply critical thinking strategies in your other courses to assist you in interpreting, analyzing, critically evaluating, and writing about a variety of ideas.
• UNI 220: Academic Refresher (1 credit). Discover personal and academic barriers that may be keeping you from finding success. Learn to get back on course-and stay there! Designated sections of UNI 220: Academic Refresher are included in the Academic Refresher Program.
• UNI 294: Mindset Connections (1 credit). Explore the connection between mindset beliefs and your individual strengths. Learn skills to achieve your academic, leadership, and professional goals.
