Polytechnic: Subject Area Tutoring

The Student Success Center (SSC) is located on the lower level of the Academic Center Building, on the opposite side of the library. The SSC provides free tutoring services to students of ASU at the Polytechnic campus & Chandler-Gilbert Community College at the Williams Campus for the subjects listed below.

Our Mission

Our subject-area tutoring is designed to support and provide resources to all undergraduate students at Arizona State University with a focus on courses offered at ASU’s Polytechnic campus and Chandler-Gilbert Community College at the Williams campus.  

Our Philosophy

By offering small group and individual tutoring on a walk-in basis, we strive to:
be a catalyst for academic success by providing first rate tutoring support,evolve our services to keep pace with the momentum of our campuses growth, provide a wide range of support to a diverse student population, andmake our services easier to obtain by providing tutoring in locations with the highest concentrations of need.

Pertinent course material (textbook, notes and syllabi)

Student ID card

How to check in

Stop by the front desk to check in.  Present your student ID card and let the front desk staff know what class you need help with.  They will then introduce you to the appropriate tutor.

Subject area tutoring will return on a drop-in basis in the fall semester, beginning on September 2, 2008.
