About online writing tutoring

The Writing Centers on each ASU campus offer online writing tutoring to currently enrolled undergraduate students.  Services are provided by Writing Center tutors. Graduate students can schedule in-person appointments by calling any of the four campus Writing Centers. 

Writing Center tutors help students to 

·         understand assignments.

·         explore, plan, and organize ideas.

·         draft, revise, and proofread.

·         address characteristic problems.

·         understand principles and styles of documentation.

How to access online writing tutoring

Online writing tutoring is available by appointment, with walk-ins accepted if there is an opening on the schedule.  Sessions last for 45 minutes.   

 

Hours of Operation:  Sunday - Thursday 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM - October 4 through December 10

Online writing tutoring will be unavailable November 25-26

To schedule an online tutoring session, please visit our appointment page and login using your ASU affiliate ID.  After you have reserved an appointment, a confirmation email will be sent to your ASU email address with the URL address of the chat room, as well as further instructions on how to access your appointment.
